Private Eye

Inaugural Exhibition

October 18 – November 13, 2007

Leslie Feely is pleased to announce the opening of her gallery with the inaugural exhibition, Leslie Feely: Private Eye, from October 18th – November 13th. Designed by the world renowned architect Frank Gehry, the gallery is located on the fifth floor of a beautiful townhouse at the corner of Madison Avenue and 68th Street. Leslie Feely has worked in New York for more than twenty-five years as a private dealer specializing in Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary masters.

The inaugural exhibition, Leslie Feely: Private Eye, is a masterwork group show, comprised of significant works Leslie has handled on loan from their current owners. Also included are works for sale from the estate of Richard Diebenkorn and from the studios of Kenneth Noland and Frank Stella. The exhibition provides an overview of the range of art upon which Leslie built her reputation, as well as a preview of what she will be handling at the gallery. Other artists featured in the opening show are Milton Avery, Alexander Calder, Edgar Degas, Helen Frankenthaler, Arshile Gorky, Hans Hofmann, Fernand Léger, Morris Louis, Henri Matisse, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Fairfield Porter, Ed Ruscha, David Smith, and Wayne Thiebaud.

Leslie Feely: Private Eye opens October 18th and runs through November 13th.
